Implementation of an e-commerce model at UAB “Vystyk” to optimize business processes and increase operational efficiency.
The goal of the project is to implement information technologies for managing business transactions electronically at the company “Vystyk,” with the aim of increasing revenue growth.
The main activity of Corner Hotel (UAB “Vystyk”) is the provision of accommodation services. The company was severely affected by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the flow of tourists to Vilnius decreased significantly, leading to a sharp decline in hotel occupancy and revenue.
During the pandemic, customer expectations also changed, with safety becoming one of the top priorities. In order to increase the hotel’s attractiveness, meet guest expectations, and boost revenue, it is essential to modernize hotel processes.
As part of the project implementation, a self-service system will be introduced, allowing guests to check in remotely, completely avoiding contact with staff. This will shorten the check-in time and minimize direct contact during the registration process, helping to manage risks and enabling the hotel to maintain uninterrupted operations.
During the project, e-solutions will be implemented, including a customer self-service system and integration between the existing reservation system, the self-service system, and the locks on guest room doors and other access points.
Once the integration is in place, information will be transferred instantly between systems, ensuring a smooth reservation process and secure check-in only to rooms that are fully prepared.
The self-service system will allow guests to book and check into the hotel remotely, avoiding direct contact with staff. This will help manage risks and enable the hotel to maintain uninterrupted operations.
